The extremely fine 192 microneedles of the model C8 have a length of 0.20 mm. This length just penetrates the epidermis. As the needles are too short to reach the superficial dermal nerve sensors in the dermis, the treatment is absolutely painless. At the most you may feel some tickling. Side effects have never been reported. 

THE HOME CARE DERMAROLLER is a non ablative instrument for SKIN IMPROVEMENT

1. The cause for isolated skin disorders and inflammation (e.g. acne) often are blocked ducts of the sebaceous and perspiratory glands by old and sticky scales of the stratum corneum. The fine needle tips will remove these “blockers” mechanically. As the gland ducts are kept open, the pore size reduces significantly.

2. Many women will experience acne that is associated with the monthly cycle. The cause is a transitional hormonal triggered increase of keratin layers in the sebaceous gland ducts that blocks the free sebum flow. By using the Home Care Dermaroller on a regular basis, about 3 to 5 times a week, the transitional acne will disappear.

3. The more skin ages, the more the epidermal renewal cycle will be prolonged. The uppermost scales start to dry out and lose their transparency – they look like a greyish layer. The needles of the Dermaroller will remove the grey scales.

4. The Dermaroller removes loose and dispensable scales on the stratum corneum, the skin has a softer feeling and finer texture.

5. Needles, even at a tiny length of only 0.15 to 0.18 mm, definitely  have a physiological effect on the epidermis. They stimulate the proliferation of keratinozcytes that transform into keratin that finally is rejected as “dead cells”, called scales or sqames. This cell stimulation in return results in a faster renewal cycle of the epidermis. Keratin scales have less time to age and to become grey. And microneedles bring another bonus to the epidermis: The uppermost layer will increase in thickness by 30% on average.

Therefore, if the Home Care Dermaroller C8 is used on a regular basis, the epidermis is increased in transparency and thickness, the simple visible answer for youthful skin.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

The needles of the model C8 improve the epidermal thickness but they are too short to induce new collagen formations in deeper dermal layers. This can only be achieved with a medical Dermaroller. Please, consult your doctor for detailed information.
