USER AND RECOMMENDED NEEDLE LENGTH The application within the scope of a medical indication, i.e. the treatment of scars of all kinds as well as striae distensae, is reserved for qualified medical personnel. Depending on the type and severity of the scar and the area of skin to be treated, the user selects the needle length up to a maximum length of 1.5 mm. In order to minimize side effects, the shortest possible needle length should always be set on the handpiece of the eDermastamp microneedling device in order to achieve uniform redness or superficial spot bleeding ("blood dew"). A stronger bleeding is not necessary!

In the context of a non-medical indication, i.e. the treatment of wrinkles or sagging skin, non-medical professional users such as trained cosmeticians may also use the medical device. For this group of users, we recommend to stay below the maximum needle length of 1.5 mm and to always select the needle length on the handpiece of the microneedling device eDermastamp in such a way that the treated skin area is uniformly slightly reddened but no bleeding occurs.

Please observe the operating instructions for the device and the information packaged with the needle module. The hygiene instructions cited there must be complied with.

Follow the treatment steps below and your patients will be able to see an improved complexion even after just a few treatments.

1. Before treatment with the eDermastamp® LS, clean the skin thoroughly. Depending on the chosen needle length, a topical anesthetic cream can be used - up to 0.5 mm needle length the treatment is usually painless. Then disinfect the skin.
2. Use a new, sterile needle module for each patient/customer and insert this into the handpiece. Set the desired needle length.
3. Apply a small quantity of lubricant to the areas to be treated. We recommend our hyaluronic acid gel CIT Hyal.
4. Now you can start the treatment. The handpiece should be guided in a circular movement with light pressure over the skin area.
5. After treatment, clean the treated skin area with sterile swabs and sterile saline solution. After a short waiting time of approx. 10 minutes we recommend Dermaroller Mask in order to provide the skin with adequate moisture and simultaneously to calm down the irritation.
