SKIN CLEANSER Coco-glucoside is a non-ionic surfactant and is used to cleanse the skin. It replenishes lipids and is therefore widely used with dry, sensitive or mature skin. It protects the skin against drying out. Rice extract has an anti-inflammatory and moisturising effect and also revitalises the skin. HYALURONIC ACID AMPOULES Hyaluronic acid is a true all-round talent in cosmetics and is versatile in use. It is a natural component of the skin, but is degraded by the body over time. This can happen due to advancing age, stress or environmental influences. The sodium salt in hyaluronic acid effectively binds moisture in the outermost skin layer. Hyaluronic acid only releases the stored moisture after several hours and maintains this effect for a long period of time. The resulting moisture deposits increase the firmness of the tissue and thus smooth the skin. Small wrinkles are diminished and a skin-toning effect is created, which has been scientifically verified. Hyaluronic acid is the moisture manager for your skin! Urea – carbamide is a substance produced by the body and one of the natural moisture retaining factors of the corneal layer. Urea soothes itching and removes scaly skin in the case of neurodermatitis and psoriasis and alleviates dry and hardened skin. It increases skin moisture and sebum flow, which is especially beneficial with impure skin and acne. Allantoin makes the skin smooth and supple and is a product of protein metabolism. It promotes tissue repair and cell regeneration with stressed and damaged skin. HYAL C Vitamin C – stimulates the metabolism of the connective tissue and the production of collagen synthesizing enzymes. Vitamin C also inhibits the breakdown of collagen at the same time. It has a regenerative and healing effect on connective tissue damages. Studies have shown that vitamin C stimulates ceramide synthesis and promotes the stabilisation of the skin’s barrier. Emulsions with vitamin C also demonstrated a significant improvement effect on the complexion of inflammatory and impure skin. As an antioxidant, vitamin C inhibits reactions caused by radicals. It is also used to prevent hyperpigmentation. Niacinamide – the amide of niacin (Vitamin B3) – has a proven skin-smoothing effect. A topical treatment of the skin with niacinamide reduces transepidermal water loss and increases the skin's resistance. It is scientifically proven that niacinamide increases the synthesis of ceramides, free fatty acids and cholesterol. This enables a targeted improvement of the skin's natural barrier function. LIPOPETIDE Shea butter is extracted from the fruit of the shea tree and is rich in stearic acid and oleic acid. The oleic acid ensures good distributability on the skin while the stearic acid spreads across the skin like a protective film. Shea butter has a nourishing, smoothing and protective effect on the skin and also soothes. Shea butter also supports the skin's water binding capability. Retinyl palmitate – vitamin A increases the enzyme activity and the collagen synthesis of the skin and plays a significant role in the skin's structure and health. It prevents DNA damage in the skin cells and contributes to its repair (e.g. in the event of damage due to UVB radiation). In addition to retinol, retinal, retinoic acid and retinyl palmitate are also part of the group of substances, which is referred to as vitamin A as a whole. Vitamin A also has a positive effect on the epithelisation (third phase of tissue repair) and clears dry and rough skin conditions. Rutin is a naturally occurring flavonide and is formed by many plants as a dye to protect against UV radiation. Studies have also backed up the antioxidant effect in humans.
